What We Collect

When you create a memorial, we collect the information you provide: names, dates, biographical text, and uploaded photos. We also collect your email address for order confirmation and bundle access delivery.

How We Use It

Memorial data you submit is used to create your digital memorial and, for public memorials, is inscribed on the Bitcoin network via OP_RETURN. This inscription is permanent and cannot be removed. Private memorial data is stored in our database and is not shared publicly unless you choose a public memorial.

Bitcoin Network

Public memorial metadata (name, dates, and a hash of the memorial content) is recorded on the Bitcoin blockchain. This data is permanent, public, and cannot be deleted by anyone, including us. The full data bundle is stored securely and accessible only via your unique access link.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with payment processors (to complete transactions) and the Bitcoin network (for memorial inscription). Public memorials may be shared on our social media channels (Twitter, Telegram, etc.) as part of our memorial announcement service.

Cookies

We use minimal cookies for session management and analytics. No third-party advertising cookies are used.

Data Retention

Memorial data is retained indefinitely — that is the nature of the service. Account and contact information can be deleted upon request by emailing us. On-chain data cannot be removed.
