Muffin

Muffin came into our lives as a tiny ball of fur, a rescue kitten with the biggest green eyes we’d ever seen. She was shy at first, hiding under the couch for days, but once she trusted us, she became the heart of our home. Her soft purrs greeted us every morning, and she had a knack for curling up on the exact spot where you needed warmth the most. She had her quirks -- she’d only drink water from a dripping faucet and would bat at any pen left on a table, sending it flying with a smug little flick of her paw. Her favorite spot was the sunny windowsill in the living room, where she’d watch birds for hours, chittering with excitement. Muffin wasn’t just a cat; she was our little shadow, always nearby during late-night movie marathons or quiet reading sessions. Losing her has left a quiet void in our home, but the memories of her playful antics and gentle affection keep us smiling through the tears.
